ABOUT ME
James is a full-blooded Filipino who was born and raised in Australia. In his youth, he played WABL for the Kalamunda Eastern Suns and in the Western Australian State Basketball Team. He continued to play for Kalamunda, eventually earning his spot in the SBL team. James would further his basketball journey and his education by traveling to the USA. He would first attended West Oaks Academy before starting his college career at Young Harris College. He would go on to play 4 seasons while traveling back-and-forth from the USA and AUS, playing in the local Filipino league (FABS) when in Australia. Graduating from Young Harris College with a Business Degree, James would set his sights on completing a Masters of Business at De LaSalle University in the Philippines. After playing out his eligibility for University basketball, he is now playing in the Philippine Basketball Association D-League for Marinerong Pilipino in the hopes to make it into the PBA.

When he's not playing basketball, James enjoys working with the local community wherever he goes. Whether that be talking at his old high school on the importance of sport, connecting with Filipino youth or setting up training sessions for future basketball players.

Above all else, James values family. Strong familial connections have allowed him to pursue his dream of playing professional basketball and kept him going when times were tough.
